Public Invited To San Ildefonso Pottery Dedication

The public is invited to join the Art in Public Places Board, Los Alamos County Council and guest artists at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 to celebrate the dedication of the large San Ildefonso pottery replicas stationed along N.M. 4 in White Rock.

The creation of this impressive artwork was a collaborative effort spanning several months and involving the Board and artists from nearby San Ildefonso Pueblo. The Governor of the Pueblo will participate in the ceremony, which will be held at the White Rock Visitor Center.
