Proud Home Of Senior Topper Laney Newton … 4th Generation Graduate Of Los Alamos High School

Topper Senior Laney Newton with her Class of 2020 yard sign, given to every senior at Los Alamos High School as part of a month long schedule of activities to honor them. The governor ordered all the schools in New Mexico closed for the remainder of the academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic so LAPS and the community are finding ways to honor the graduates. Newton is a 4th family generation of LAHS graduates. Her great grandmother, Anita Lutrell, graduated in 1947, her grandfather, Rickie Martinez in 1971 and her mother, Sara (Martinez) Newton in 1994.
