Proposed Sewage Rate Increase Goes Before Board of Public Utilities Aug. 15

COUNTY News:

The Department of Public Utilities is proposing an increase to sewage rate services.

The public hearing for the proposed sewage rate increase is 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 in Council Chambers at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building, 1000 Central Ave.

The public is encouraged to read the discussion and provide feedback to the Board of Public Utilities here.

If approved, the draft ordinance will be introduced to the Los Alamos County Council Aug. 28 to be scheduled for a public hearing Sept. 25. Council will consider adoption of the ordinance at that time.
