projectY cowork News:

  • The Los Alamos Community Encouraged to Work Together at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op Outdoor Patio, Following COVID-Safe Guidelines

projectY cowork Los Alamos announced today that it will co-host a free coworking day Monday, Aug. 10 at the outdoor patio of Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op to celebrate the International Day of Coworking.

The community is encouraged to participate in this day, which promotes working solo (but not alone), from noon to 4 p.m. while also supporting other local businesses.

“The event is open to the community for all who are working remotely during this time,” projectY cowork Manager Christina McCormick said. “In a time of mandatory social distancing and other restrictions around work and community activities, it can be an immensely lonely time for many people. We want to bring the community together in a safe way to work solo, but not alone during this time. So bring your laptop and your action items for the day and join us for a special outdoor coworking day!”

All participants will be physically distanced, in line with COVID-safe guidelines, and should wear a mask if not eating or drinking. Participants also will receive discounted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the event, as well as a coupon for a discounted drink at Boese Brothers Brewpub. Purchase of an alcoholic beverage is not required to participate in the coworking day.

projectY cowork Los Alamos is across the parking lot of Bathtub Row Brewing, and open to members and those who drop-in on a day pass or punchcard. The space is operating at 25 percent capacity in line with state guidelines. It has a small conference room; private, ventilated and soundproof phone booth; and both open seating and dedicated desks. It has a rigorous cleaning schedule and protocols, details of which can be found on the website at projectYLosAlamos.com.
