ProgressNow Executive Director Patrick Davis To Speak At Democratic Party Of Los Alamos Meeting April 13

ProgressNow Executive Director Patrick Davis will speak at 7 p.m. Monday, April 13 at the Democratic Party of Los Alamos County monthly meeting at UNM-LA, Building 02, Room 203. The meeting is open to the public.

Davis has discussed New Mexico politics in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Huffington Post and in multiple appearances on MSNBC. He joined ProgressNow New Mexico in 2011 as the founding executive director.

ProgressNow New Mexico is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots communications and advocacy organization working to unite, empower and enhance the progressive voice in the Land of Enchantment. A communications hub, which promotes progressive issues and policies and holds elected officials and corporations accountable, ProgressNow New Mexico is a member of the national ProgressNow network of organizations.

A former police officer, Davis earned his master’s degree in criminal justice at New Mexico State University. He has served on the boards of several non-profits promoting economic development, the arts, public safety and supporting LGBT candidates for office.
