Probate Judge Vacancy Letters Deadline Is Tuesday

There are only a few days remaining to apply for the Los Alamos County Probate Judge vacancy. Letters of interest must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.

Under State law, any qualified person over the age of 18 who is a resident of Los Alamos County may serve, Letters of interest should be received via U.S. mail or hand-delivered by the Tuesday deadline – submit the letter to:

This item is on the Los Alamos County Council’s agenda for June 28. Applicants will be expected to attend the June 28 Council meeting (6 p.m., Council Chambers) to respond to questions from the Council about their qualifications.

To date, the County has received two letters of interest in the position.
