To prepare for the upcoming “The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever”, 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at Ashley Pond Pavilion, the public is invited to attend practice sessions.

Two optional practice sessions are available for those who are interested. The first practice is 6-7 p.m. Monday, July 27 at Mesa Public Library and the second practice session is 6-7 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at the White Rock Branch Library.

Can’t make it to practice? There will be links to dance tutorials, the original inspiring and iconic Kate Bush video, and more at https://sites.google.com/view/tmwhde-los-alamos-2025. The public can also follow the group on Instagram @wutheringlosalamos.

The event is free and no dancing skills are required.

To get a head count, participants are asked to RSVP through Eventbrite.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is based on Kate Bush’s 1978 song, “Wuthering Heights,” which in turn is based on Emily Brontë’s book of the same name.

The event originated with “Shambush’s The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience,” presented at the 2013 Brighton Fringe, an alternative arts and music festival in the United Kingdom. 

It is now a global phenomenon, and this is the second event that has been held in New Mexico with permission from Wuthermothers, Shambush.
