Items on the agenda include:
- A public hearing to possibly adopt Code Ordinance No. 02-321, which would amend text in Chapter 16 of the Los Alamos County Code to adopt local regulations for cannabis retail sales as well as modify text regarding home occupations.
- A public hearing to possibly adopt Ordinance No. 711, which is a loan/grant agreement with the New Mexico Finance Authority for Wastewater Plant Filtration System. The loan/grant totals $2.5 million and would be used to construct a filtration treatment process at the Los Alamos Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- A public hearing to approve Resolution No. 21-31, which would adjust precinct boundaries in the County.
- A presentation on the 2021 Electric Reliability Plan.
- A presentation on the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, which Council Chair Randall Ryti attended.
- Introduce Ordinance No. 02-324, which would extend the option to redirect Department of Public Utilities profit transfers to the Joint Utility System Fund for purposes designated by the Council.
