FOS News:
Sunday, April 6 is the third year in a row that the Los Alamos Friends of the Shelter (FOS) has participated in the Posse Lodge Pancake Breakfast. All proceeds will benefit FOS.
The regular menu items of various flavors of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee will be available. FOS will feature a silent auction of gift baskets donated by Zena Thomas and Best Buddy Baskets. The auction goes on all morning, as well as a chance to sign up for the Dog Jog before rates increase.
Additionally, from 9-11 a.m., we will feature a mobile adoption in addition to the ever-popular Doggy Kissing Booth. This year for the first time we are adding an ‘Ask the Trainer’ table where you can receive some personal training advice from Sue Barns, who trains dogs for Assistance Dogs of the West, and has co-authored the book Training Your Diabetic Alert Dog.
Come to the Posse Lodge on North Mesa and get a doggy kiss or a paw shake with a friendly canine. Visit with some of the shelter dogs who will be more than ready to meet and greet you, or get advice on your own pet as you come out for an all-you-can-eat breakfast.
Cost is $7 for adults, and $4 for kids 10 years and younger.
