Police Seek Public’s Assistance In Los Alamos Youth Football And Cheerleading League Embezzlement Case

LAPD News:

Based on the continuing investigation of embezzlement from the Los Alamos Youth Football and Cheerleading League, Los Alamos Police Det. Ryan Wolking is seeking information from participants of the league, businesses or individuals who donated to the league, or anyone from whom the league would have received cash, checks, or some other form of payment.

Specifically, LAPD is requesting information relating to financial transactions being processed or handled by the league’s former president Tabatha Jones of White Rock.

If you purchased a game DVD or decal, please let Det. Wolking know who you paid, how you paid, and when that occurred. Also, provide a record of that payment if possible. If you or your business donated money to the league through providing money to Jones, please advise what you donated, the form of payment, a record of the payment.

If you registered your child for football or cheerleading and paid Jones via a check or cash, please advise how much, when, etc. If you donated funds to GoFundMe for the league through the league’s Facebook page, please advise how much and provide a receipt or information.

If you are aware of fundraiser funds produced by any fundraiser entrusted to Jones, please advise.
