LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department would like to take a moment and remind motorists that school is back in session this Thursday and officers will be out in school zones for traffic enforcement to ensure all students, parents and staff return from summer break safely and have an enjoyable school year.

LAPD also would like to remind parents whose children are taking Atomic City Transit to school to ensure they are aware of the bus routes they are supposed to take.

At the start of school last year, several children were reported missing because they were confused about the different bus routes and got off at the wrong destination. We encourage parents to ride the exact routes with their children to help alleviate the confusion of riding Atomic City Transit buses.
