Pirates Invade County’s Annual Employee Luncheon!

A disconcerting band of pirates, suspiciously resembling County senior management, are spotted this morning hanging around Oppie and Groves outside Fuller Lodge. The pirate on the far left bears a strong resemblance to County Manager Harry Burgess, while the wench with a sword standing fourth from left is likely related to County Communications Director Julie Habiger and the man standing second from the right wearing a red do-rag under a skull and crossbones hat is thought to be a first cousin of Police Chief Dino Sgambellone. This unruly bunch is expected to gather at 11 a.m. today inside Fuller Lodge for the annual County Employee Appreciation Luncheon. Photo by Leslie Bucklin/LAC
