PPP News:
“Pinon Park Pool is the perfect place for your kids to learn to swim outdoors this summer,” Manager Jeremy Goettee said.
Swim lessons start next week and cater to participants of all ages and abilities, from introducing babies to water, to small children becoming comfortable immersing their faces, to learning basic swim strokes, and advanced-level learning butterfly, diving, and water safety techniques.
“This year, we are limiting class sizes to just six participants to optimize the student–to-teacher ratio and ensure participants have the opportunity to learn proper swimming techniques. All lessons will be taught by experienced and certified lifeguards,” Goettee said.
Swim lessons are offered at five different skill levels and run in one week blocks, 9:30-10:15 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Lessons run every other week through July 28, and participants are welcome to take part in as many weekly blocks as they wish.
The cost per one-week block of swim lessons is $30 for Pinon Park Pool members and $40 for non-members. Pinon Park Pool welcomes both members and non-members to take part in its swim lessons this summer. Pool memberships are still available, and range from $300 for one person, up to $450 for a family of four or more.
Pinon Park Pool is at 104 Bryce Ave., in White Rock and open through to Labor Day Weekend.
