SHELTER News:

Milo and Otis are recent transfers from Rancho de Chihuahua rescue in Albuquerque. They are being featured together as the Pets of the Week since they would do best in a home together.

The 8-year-old dogs are very bonded, having never been apart since birth. They are still a little shy and cautious, but are quickly learning to enjoy new human and dog friends. Stop by to meet these two cuties or contact thier sponsor Bonnie at 505.672.3944, for more information.

The Los Alamos Animal Shelter, 226 East Road, 505.662.8179, has a great selection of adoptable pets; see the Petfinder website for photos here. For information about volunteering, adopting and donating and learning more about special needs animals and cats and dogs in foster care, visit www.lafos.org.

All adoptable pets are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and have up-to-date on vaccinations. Shelter Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weekends.
