ELECTION 2012 News:
Former U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., came out this morning to endorse State Rep. Jim Hall for House District 43.
“Like me, Jim Hall has fought daily to protect Los Alamos National Labs. He has fought for LANL as a community member, a city councilor and now as a state representative. I’m proud to endorse Jim Hall for state representative,” Domenici said in a news release.
Hall thanked Domenici for his support of the labs and of his campaign saying, “We all owe Sen. Domenici a debt of gratitude for all he has done for our labs. Without him, Los Alamos would be a vastly different place. I am honored to have the endorsement of a man who has done so much for us.”
Hall is a former Division Leader at LANL and serves on the Radioactive and Hazardous Waste Materials Committee in the New Mexico Legislature.
He recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to request additional clean-up funding for LANL.
Hall is running in the Nov. 6 General Election against Deomcratic challenger Stephanie Garcia Richard for the House seat.
