Pet of the Week: Vela the Dog

SHELTER News:

Vela the dog is as close to perfect as it gets, and we can’t say enough good things about her. She is about 18 months old. She is a spayed female Dutch shepherd cross.

Vela is energetic, but polite, gets along well with adults, gentle children, and most other dogs. She enjoys the dog park and is good on leash walks. She has a lovely multi-colored short coat. For a personal introduction to Vela, call her sponsor at 505.660.1648.

All adoptable pets are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and have up-to-date on vaccinations. Shelter Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weekends.
