Pet of the Week: Tiger the Cat

SHELTER News:

Tiger is a new arrival who won’t be with us long! He is a five-year-old neutered male orange-upon-more-orange tabby with golden-green eyes. He answers to his name.

Tiger likes to survey his kingdom from a high perch. He enjoys human company, but wants his personal space respected.

Tiger cries when alone too much. Gentle older kids would be okay, but perhaps little kids would not be a good fit for Tiger.

The Los Alamos Animal Shelter, 226 East Road, (505) 662-8179, has a great selection of adoptable pets.

All adoptable pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, and brought up-to-date on vaccinations. Dogs are checked for heartworm.

Visit the Friends of the Shelter’s new website at www.lafos.org for information about volunteering, adopting and donating, or call  (505) 662-8179.

Also, check out the Petfinder page for photos and to learn more about the adoptable pets at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/friendsoftheshelter.html.
