SHELTER News:
Sheila is a friendly two-year-old tan female who is housebroken, crate trained, has some obedience training, and loves to play and go for hikes.
She behaves very nicely on a leash and in a car. Sheila wants adult companionship, because children frighten her. She also needs a good fence for those times alone, so she doesn’t exercise her climbing, excavation or agility jumping skills.
For a personalized introduction to this sweet dog, call her sponsor at (505) 231-1744.
The Los Alamos County Animal Shelter, 226 East Road, (505) 662-8179, has a great selection of adoptable pets. All adoptable pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, and brought up-to-date on vaccinations. Dogs are checked for heartworm.
Visit the Friends of the Shelter’s new website at www.lafos.org for information about volunteering, adopting and donating, or call (505) 662-8179.
