Pet of the Week: Sassy the Cat

SHELTER News:

Sassy is a 14-year-old spayed female cat who couldn’t be brought along when her lifetime owner moved.

Sassy is white with dilute tortie markings and blue eyes. Due to past unpleasant experiences, she now wants a home with no small children.

Saassy also is ready to retire from the company of other cats, so she can be your sole lap-warmer. She ignores dogs. For a senior lady, she is being very brave about having to come to the shelter.

The Los Alamos Animal Shelter, 226 East Road, 505.662.8179, has a great selection of adoptable pets … just great at chasing away the blues as the nights get longer, so stop by and adopt a new friend today or checkout all of the shelter’s  adoptable animals on the Petfinder website: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/friendsoftheshelter.html

  • Noon to 6 p.m. Monday–Friday; and
