SHELTER News:

Reba is a 1-year-old female dog with such a varied ancestry that she’s just called a “New Mexico Brown Dog”.

Stop in to the shelter to get acquainted with this friendly, good-natured, young lady. She is good on leash and warms up to people quickly and easily. Reba loves to roll on the lawn and receive gentle belly rubs.

A few scrunches around and behind her ears are appreciated just as much. Eager to please, she will proudly respond to training.

For information about volunteering, adopting and donating and learning more about special needs animals and cats and dogs in foster care, visit www.lafos.org.

Shelter hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays.
