Pet of the Week: Muffin the Dog

SHELTER News:

Muffin is a 10-year-old spayed female heeler mix. She is housebroken and leash trained. She is very mellow and would love a quiet home where she can be walked daily and get lots of snuggles and affection from her people.

She can be a little shy, so she would probably be best in a home with no children or older children who understand the needs of an older dog. She does quickly make new dog friends though and loves trips to the dog park.

The Los Alamos Animal Shelter, 226 East Road, 505.662.8179, has a great selection of adoptable pets … just great at chasing away the blues as the nights get longer, so stop by and adopt a new friend today or checkout all of the shelter’s adoptable animals on the Petfinder website: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/friendsoftheshelter.html
