Peregrine Falcon Rescued In Los Alamos

This Peregrine Falcon was rescued Tuesday morning in Los Alamos. The falcon will become an education bird for the Raptor Center. It must have flown into the power lines and burnt off part of her wing and appeared to be hopping across the property and down into the canyon to get back to its nest. A smaller bird flew to her and then flew away. Dr. Kathleen Ramsey said the recued falcon is healthy. Courtesy photo
