PEEC News:

Created by Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Los Luceros Historic Site, the New Mexico Outdoor Pass (NMOP) is a FREE booklet included with FREE community events for families where everyone gets rewarded for spending time outside.

Participate in this activity and get a stamp for the New Mexico Outdoor Pass booklet. Fill the book with stamps and be rewarded with prizes.

Join PEEC and Los Luceros Historic Site for an NMOP special event: Fish!, 10 a.m. Sunday, May 1. During this fish-themed day at Los Luceros Historic Site (253 Co Rd 41, Alcalde) enjoy a tour of the grounds, make arts and crafts, and have an opportunity to join New Mexico Game and Fish for a beginner-friendly fishing event. Fishing poles and bait will be provided. Learn to cast a line and catch and release fish. Also learn how to identify local fish. A perfect Sunday activity for the whole family.
