Enjoy an evening of music under the stars in the Los Alamos Nature Center’s planetarium. The Pajarito Environmental Education Center and the Los Alamos Big Band are teaming up to present an exciting concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9.
The Los Alamos Big Band will play tunes like “Over the Rainbow,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore” and more at this event. The concert is expected to sell out, so call the nature center at 505.662.0460 or stop by to reserve tickets. Admission to this concert is $10 per person.
PEEC was founded in 2000 to serve the community of Los Alamos. It offers people of all ages a way to enrich their lives by strengthening their connections to our canyons, mesas, mountains, and skies. PEEC operates the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road, holds regular programs and events, and hosts a number of interest groups from birding to hiking to butterfly watching.
