The community is invited to join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Los Alamos County Library to celebrate the upcoming launch of the James Webb Space Telescope.
This family-friendly celebration is 3:30-5 p.m. Saturday Nov. 20 at the White Rock Public Library on Sherwood Boulevard.
People of all ages are welcome to stop by throughout this program to create an art piece imagining what the telescope might discover, or make a pinwheel galaxy, quiz an astronomer with space-related questions, discover how the Webb Telescope will allow the seeing of new things, learn the basics of using a telescope and more.
This event will be held mostly outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather.
Drop by anytime throughout this event to join in the fun. This event is free to attend and no advance registration is required.
