PEEC News:

Every Tuesday throughout June and July, the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is offering its popular Summer Family Evenings, each with a different theme and activity. PEEC will team up with Bandelier and the Fuller Lodge Art Center to present “Predators and Prey” 6:30-8 p.m. June 24 at PEEC.

Chris Judson of Bandelier will give a fun and entertaining slide show about predators and prey that kids of all ages will enjoy. After the slideshow, Ken Nebel of the Fuller Lodge Art Center will be working with the kids to create their own piece of art inspired by the wildlife about which they have learned. While the presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., those who can’t make it by then are still welcome to drop in throughout the program to participate in the art activity.

The event is free to attend for PEEC members; the cost for non-members is $5 per family, regardless of how many are in the family. No advance registration is required. To learn more about this and other PEEC programs, visit http://www.pajaritoeec.org/ or contact 505.662.0460 or Programs@PajaritoEEC.org.
