Parking Requirements for LAHS Cross Country Invitational and Elementary Mile

LAHS SPORTS News:

Due to construction/limited parking availability and the safety of everyone involved, those participating in the Los Alamos High School Cross Country Invitational and Elementary Mile event must adhere to the following parking plan:

  • Earliest arrivals will be directed through the golf course parking lot, onto the service road to proceed to parking spots along the perimeter (outer spots will be filled first and cars will be directed to fill in behind in the order that they arrive.)
  • Once the service road is full, vehicles may:
           a. enter into the parking lot, be directed to a passenger drop off spot (including elementary runners or spectators with disabilities), and proceed along the service road to fill a   vacated spot or to exit onto San Ildefonso Road to park at the middle school and walk to the event.
           b. proceed past the golf course entrance to the middle school for parking and walk to the event.
  • There will be a very limited number of spaces for drivers with official handicap placards.

Note: All vehicles entering the golf course will exit via the service road onto San Ildefonso Road.
