Residents on Taos Avenue in Los Alamos are doing their part to help reduce waste by placing leaves and pine needles in paper yard waste bags. The County is encouraging the use of paper yard waste bags during the Brush and Bulk Item Collection program to enable the materials to be composted instead of sent to the landfill.
