MUSIC News:

Join the fun with the Pajarito Spanish Dance Alliance for the sixth Fiesta de la Primavera 3 p.m., April 15 at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos.

Each year in April the Alliance brings the “aire” of Spain to the historic Pajarito Room in Fuller Lodge, filling it with the sounds, movements and rhythms of traditional and contemporary Flamenco music and dance.

Imagine pomegranate trees in bloom and the sound of water running in magical fountains somewhere inside the Alhambra’s fortress walls as castanets roll, feet punctuate, and guitars and voices resonate with the poetry of Spain. Prepare to be entranced by renowned artists Ronaldo Baca, Chuscales, Nicolasa Chávez, Mina Fajardo, and Sara de Luz!

The company is directed by Ellen Walton and produced by the Pajarito Spanish Dance Alliance.

The Pajarito Spanish Dance Alliance is a 501 (c) (3) organization which brings together local artists to perform, teach and preserve the art of Spanish Dance in Northern New Mexico. ¡Olé!
