NMSD News:

In their guest column published April 7, three of UNM Board of Regents, Regents Doughty, Lee and Fortner made a number of inaccurate assertions about the recent reorganization of the UNM Health Sciences Center medical complex (HSC). We believe readers deserve clarification.
They have repeatedly claimed that they dissolved the HSC Board of Directors—in an extremely abrupt and secretive way—because the HSC has become too independent. They have also asserted that it is not part of what they describe as “one university”.

This assertion overlooks some

Los Alamos

Some disturbing details emerge upon closer inspection of the NWF. This is an agency that appears to have wildlife in its best interest, unfortunately, they promote trapping of wildlife. http://www.nwf.org/Who-We-Are/Affiliate-Partnership/Resolutions/Resolutions/1996/1996-12.aspx. By LAURA LEITNER

They have always loved nature and being in the outdoors, and they are very excited about the new program. They are so excited about it that we are making time to do some fun hikes when we might not otherwise have squeezed it into our busy schedule.

We were, in fact, planning to do the Acid Canyon hike the day after I read about that particular post being removed. I told my boys that someone had stolen it. My oldest Read More
