The Atomic City Road Runner’s weekly pace race held Tuesday in Rendija Canyon was hampered by rain approximately halfway into the race and the predict slips were not usable for accurate predictions.
In the 1-mile distance Max Davis, 3, was the top finisher at 12:35 and the first female was Aster Zavoria, 2, with a time of 26:13.
Madeline Harms was the best finisher in the 2-mile race, recording a 19:12 and Warren Scoggins was the first male finisher at 23:22.
On the 3-mile course Kyle Beliny had a time of 28:21 for first place and Harper Reid, 14, was the top female at 36:46.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the Quemazon complex, starting by the Montessori School on Esperanza Lane. To get there, head north on Diamond Drive to North Road and take a left to the Quemazon complex, then take a left to the first right on Esperanza Lane.
A 1-mile paved and 5K hybrid (paved and trail) courses will be available.
