Pace Race Participants Compete Under Cloudy, Rainy Skies

Sixteen runners and walkers participated in the Atomic City Roadrunners Pace Race under cloudy and rainy skies along Pipeline Road south of White Rock Tuesday.

Best predictors on the one mile course:

  • Joan Williams – error adjusted for three miles – 75 seconds
  • Jackie Marr – error adjusted for three miles – 126 seconds
  • Duane Marr – error adjusted for three miles – 153 seconds
  • Patricia Burnside – Fastest on one mile course – 9:39

Best predictors on the three mile course

  • Nikol Strother – 2.69 seconds
  • Nick Pv – 2.85 seconds – Note: First and second place separated by .16 seconds
  • Ted Romero – 6 seconds
  • Nikol Strother – Fastest runner on three mile course – 21:37

Next week’s Pace Race will be “The New Pipeline Gut Buster” with the start near the Quemazon Montessori play lot on Brisa del Bosque.
