Open House On Cuba Ranger District Wednesday

SANTA FE – Anyone who has ever wondered what natural resource specialists are working on in the Santa Fe National Forest, what tools archaeologists or firefighters use and has a fourth grader starting school this month can receive a free interagency recreation pass that’s good for an entire year for their family? 

Everyone is invited to the Cuba Ranger District’s Open House 1-3:30 p.m., Wednesday.

Come learn what is happening with forest plan revision, timber management, recreation, wildlife, archaeology, and much more on your national forest! The public is encouraged and welcome to bring questions on these topics and more during this afternoon of sharing.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Forest Service staff, as well as staff from the Soil and Water Conservation District and Natural Resource Conservation Service! Pick up a copy of the Motor Vehicle Use Map and learn more about Santa Fe NF’s Cuba Ranger District happenings. Be curious!
