At approximately 2:45 p.m. today, three cars were involved in a traffic collision on the truck route across from the Los Alamos National Laboratory shooting range.

Nichole Stafford, driver of a white Altima sedan reported to the Los Alamos Daily Post that she was heading east bound on the truck route when a car in front of her was preparing to turn left into the area of the shooting range. Stafford stopped for the turning car and said that from behind her car, a white subaru crashed into a dark color sedan. The sedan began to spin and clipped Stafford’s rear left bumper, she said, adding that the sedan came to rest facing west on the opposite side of the truck route.

The driver of the white subaru was transported to the Los Alamos Medical Center with a potential back injury.
