On the job in Los Alamos is Annette Hiteman, better known as the Los Alamos Snake Wrangler, enjoying a round of applause from kids and neighbors today after rescuing a rattlesnake on Barranca Mesa. This marked her 71st snake rescue, 52 of which have been rattlesnakes. Hiteman offers her services free of charge but gratuities are appreciated.
