REBECCA HOLMES ROGERS March 8, 1950 – Oct. 23, 2020

Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 another bright star was added to the skies. Our dear Rebecca Holmes Rogers, born March 8, 1950 in Wood River, IL to Gene and Shirley Holmes, passed on due to complications of leukemia.

Rebecca also known as Reba, Rita, Becca, Beebs and Reba du Twain, was truly a free spirit, marching to the beat of her own drum.

Beki saw beauty in the wonder-filled earth around her. From the smallest seashell to the most majestic Redwood-she was truly a lover and protector of Mother Nature’s greatest gifts to all of us.

Although spending most of her life in her beloved Northern New Mexico, Beki was most at home by the Pacific Ocean. She was able to fulfill a dream and lived on the West Coast for the last four years of her life.

Beki spent much of her time making music with her best friend and husband, Rick. No one could do American Pie like Rick and Becca! This wonderful gift of music she passed along to her sons and grandsons. She will dance and sing along with them for many years to come.

Rebecca will forever be cherished and deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her partner and husband of 26 years, Rick Rogers of Rockaway Beach, Oregon; her Son Dylan Arbuckle (Danielle) and grandsons Austin and Asher Arbuckle all of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; her Son Dustin Arbuckle (Angelina Rivera) of Netarts, Oregon; her Sister Susan Greene and family; Brother Tim Holmes and family and Brother Tom Holmes and family and many, many friends with two legs, four legs, wings and fins.

A memorial service for Rebecca will be planned for a later date.

Dance, Sing, Fly and be Free, Rebecca! We all love you. You will be missed, our Quicksilver Girl.
