KASEY CRAWFORD Sept. 6, 1946 – Jan. 26, 2021

Kasey Crawford, a long-time resident of Bloomfield, NM entered eternal rest on January 26 in Albuquerque, NM after battling heart and kidney failure.

Kasey is survived by her husband, Terry Crawford; her sister, Robin Wheeler; her aunt, Betty Conrad; her cousins, Katrina Conrad-King, Susan Fleming, Karen Burch, Sharen Lindberg, Dale Farrar, her sisters-in-law, Sharon Stiffler and Alta Sue (Tom) Radke; her children, Brandon (Beverly) Fredenburg, Jeffrey (Tammie) Fredenburg, Kristin (Erik) Hansen; her stepchildren, Tim (Christina) Crawford, Jessica (Troy) Paggen, and Jennifer (Mike) McCoy; her grandchildren, Lynn, Taler, Tristen, Kaylee, Anya, Elody, Josh, Jenni, John, Eric, Dylan, Gabrielle, Alycia, Titus, Taylor, Adrian, and Kayla; and her great-grandchildren Skarlet, Shelby, William, and Raelyn.

She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Irene Congleton.

Kasey was born in Cambridge, OH on September 6, 1946. She attended The Ohio State University, majoring in her life-long interest, social work. Kasey’s outgoing, social personality led her to a 30+ year career in the restaurant industry, where she enjoyed serving others and made many friends. When she retired, she missed the interaction with her customers and staff.

Kasey lived and worked in Los Alamos, NM, where she was a member of Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church.

In 2000, after returning to Bloomfield, she married the love of her life, Terry Crawford. They enjoyed traveling, seeing new places, and especially visiting family and friends. Kasey loved to read books by her favorite author, Nora Roberts. She loved parties and get-togethers. But most of all, she loved babies — especially, “her babies!” People never had to wonder how Kasey felt about them. Her final wish was “to make sure everyone knows how much I love them.”

No wish is easier to grant because she went out of her way to show her love … and humor. An ardent punster, she told everyone for years that “People in grass houses should not stow thrones.” Did we listen? We’re a frayed knot.

Kasey, “Wicked stepmother,” ”Mother,” “Mom,” “Mugga,” “Grandma”: you will be missed every day, and we thank you for your unconditional love.

What Kasey wanted, and what Terry wants, is to have quality time with loved ones. There will be no funeral, and the family asks, in keeping with Kasey’s spirit, that you schedule a personal visit.

In lieu of flowers, Kasey requested that you tip your server, your bartender, and, of course, your Sonic Drive-In carhop!

Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., (505)864-4448, where an online guest register is available at www.noblin.com.
