Special thanks to Rich Erskin for all your help throughout the years. Also thank you to her nurse Claudette from Amber care, and most important, a big heartfelt thank you to our daughter Jennifer for your love and compassion for Mom all these years. You brought joy and laughter and friendship to her, she loved you so much.

Once again thank you to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren for making her feel so special. She loved all of you and was so proud of you. She loved telling people that she was the matriarch of 5 generations. She loved us all dearly and will be missed by all of us.

Jerry enjoyed life to the fullest. She worked for the National Park Service in Santa Fe. She started her nursing career in her 40’s and loved taking care of and meeting many people. She was advocate of the Boys and Girls Club in Carlsbad, NM.

She had been a member of the Betty Ehart Senior Center in Los Alamos. While a member she started a chapter of Red Hat Ladies and thoroughly enjoyed that. Her last few years were painful for her both emotionally and physically but upon her last breath she was beautiful and peaceful. Our love is with you Mom.

Her wishes were to be cremated and have no public service. We will have private internment of her ashes alongside her daughter Kathy and son Max later in Carlsbad, NM.

The family of Jerry F. Davis has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505.747.7477 – www.devargasfuneral.com.
