JASON DAVID ZURBRUGG Nov. 3, 1978 – May 28, 2018

Jason David Zurbrugg, 39, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2018.

He was born Nov. 3, 1978 in Columbus, Indiana, to David Lawrence and Diane Jean Davis Zurbrugg. He married Beckie Angell Morrison November 3, 2009 in Columbus, Indiana.

Jason overcame many trials in his short life to become a much loved, talented and knowledgeable father, step-father and husband. Jason was brilliant. He loved being outdoors and worked in landscaping and pond design. He had a knack for plants, symmetry and design and built beautiful fountains and ponds with natural looking stone.

Always a jokester, Jason liked to prank the kids and loved to “scare” them. Jason was a giant teddy bear, and gave great hugs. Jason was an amazing person and touched every life he came in contact with. He had the greatest smile, and the most beautiful blue eyes. He was honest, hardworking, loyal and fierce. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Preceding him was his mother, Diane, grandparents Edyth Elaine Tharp and Lawrence Christopher Zurbrugg, and Roy Davis. He is survived by his loving wife Beckie, sons Gage Leroy and Dalton James Zurbrugg, his step-daughters, Brianne, Alyssa and Sarai Johnston, father, David (Pam) of Columbus, Ind., sister, Amanda Dawn (Andrew) Hull of Columbus, Ind., grandmother, Velma Davis, parents-in-law, Lee and Aimee Morrison, brother-in-law, Jim (Audra) Morrison, sister-in-law, Christie (Met) Haynes, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial celebration of life was held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 366 Grand Canyon Dr, White Rock.
