HORACE H. (BILL) SPROUSE Nov. 24, 1944 – March 29, 2026

Horace H. (Bill) Sprouse, 81, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026. Horace was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He was born in Madill, Oklahoma on November 24, 1944, to William and Ruth Sprouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and by the love of his life – his loving wife Teresa Sprouse.

Horace is survived by Daughters; Cheryl L. Sprouse and Lori M. Sprouse. and one Brother; Doris Sprouse of Union Town, Pennsylvania, Grandchildren; William, Corey, Amber, and Aidan. 

Horace attended Madill Public Schools. He joined the military and then met his wife Teresa and married on April 16, 1968. They were wed at Kirtland Air Force Base and were married for 49 years. 

Horace served in the United States Air Force and retired from service after 20 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a true patriot.  Horace then continued his service to the country by working 20 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Funeral Service, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Watts Memorial Chapel, 200 South First
Madill, OK 73446. Interment, Oakland Cemetery, Saturday, April 18, 2026, 221 W Hwy 70, Madill, OK 73446. Casket Bearers: William Gorman, Corey Evans, Amber Royer and Aidan Royer and U.S. Air Force.
