FRANCINE WINGFIELD KENNEDY March 25, 2018

Francine Wingfield Kennedy, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 25, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM.

Fran has spent most of her adult life raising her 4 children in Jemez Springs NM. She also did bookkeeping for and assisted her husband in managing the Jemez Springs Domestic Water Co-op, her husband’s business, J&J Trenching and Excavating and was a remarkable seamstress. In her younger years she loved riding horses, barrel racing, rodeo, and being the cook for the Baca Land & Cattle Company on the Valle Grande.

Fran is survived by her spouse of 43 years, John Kennedy, her daughters Dawn Dozhier (sp Brian Dozhier) and Amy Eldridge, her sons Kevin Kennedy (pt Shayline Stacy) and William (Billy) Kennedy, grandchildren Devin Dozhier (sp Tiara Dozhier), Nathan Eldridge, Daycie Dozhier, Shade Eldridge, Delaney Dozhier, and Aspen Francine Kennedy, brothers Wayne Wingfield (sp Suzanne Wingfield), Barry Wingfield (sp Sandy Wingfield), sister Dea Etta Parks, loving brothers and sister in laws, Charlie and Patti Kennedy, Del Kennedy, and Peter Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin (Bud) and Opal Wingfield.

A celebration of life will be held at the Jemez Springs Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 31st at 3:00pm, with a pot luck and ice cream social reception at the church following the service. Internment will follow at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
