To Know Her Was To Love Her. The family of Florence Osvath would like to invite the community to her memorial service at 11:00, Saturday, June 2, at the White Rock Baptist Church.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rubye Mullins, brother Buck Mullins, and loving husband of 66 years, Frank Osvath.

Florence is survived by her four daughters and four sons-in-law, Amy & David Swennes, Ginger & Jim Meeham, Lisa & Bill Lanterman, Mary & Steve Keller; seven grandchildren (Jared and Kody Corduan, Jessica Lanterman, Kristi Wann, Jason Lanterman, Jacob and Frank Keller); and 6 great-grandchildren (Wade and Adam Corduan, Jackson Corduan, Aya Nishizuka, Ryker and Ezra Wann).

Florence came to Los Alamos from Texas in 1945 to work at the Laboratory. She was active in her church, in AAUW, and in the Los Alamos Hiking Club. She enjoyed the mountains and was still hiking and skiing in her eighties. She was an exceptionally kind and caring wife, mother, friend, and volunteer. She treated others with unconditional acceptance and love – reflecting the face of Jesus.
