ERMA RAE REYNOLDS BINGHAM Jan. 22, 1933 – April 13, 2023

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sweet friend, Erma Rae Reynolds Bingham, was reunited with her eternal companion, Keith Edward Bingham, on April 13, 2023, at the age of 90. She passed away peacefully in Bosque Farms, New Mexico with her family present.

Erma Rae, daughter of Velma Reed Reynolds and Lawrence Heber Reynolds, was born January 22, 1933, in Sanford, CO.  She attended school in Sanford, CO; Albuquerque, NM; and Los Alamos, NM.

She met her husband, Keith Edward Bingham, when he found work in Los Alamos after serving in the US Navy during WWII. They were married on August 6, 1949, in Sanford, CO and were sealed together as a family in the LDS Arizona Temple in 1961.

Erma Rae and Keith were blessed with six children, two girls and four boys. They raised their children in Los Alamos where they lived for 52 years. They moved to Belen, NM where they enjoyed their retirement years. After Keith’s passing, Erma Rae moved to Albuquerque and then to the Bosque Farms Beehive Home.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Erma Rae served in many callings and taught her children to love God and serve others. She was the greatest example of unconditional love and forgiveness. Erma Rae and Keith opened their home to many families and individuals, providing love and support in their time of need.

Erma Rae is survived by her six children, Laraine Wheeler, Richard (Cindy) Bingham, Sue Ann (Keith) Cook, Kelly (Ruth) Bingham, Barry (Cheryl) Bingham, and David (Bonnie) Bingham; twenty-eight grandchildren; sixty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents and great-grandson, Brandyn Ortega.

Family was very important to Erma Rae. She loved to celebrate her children and grandchildren, always offering love, encouragement, and support. She knew how to listen to each of them with love. Her family is grateful for the time they had to be with her in this life and look forward to the day when they can be with her again.
