DAVID CARLSON Oct. 7, 1944 Feb. 5, 2018

David Carlson, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his Samoyed dogs and his wife and best friend of over 30 years, Mary. 

He is also survived by his daughters Decol Lyn Carlson and Mica Tyler; he loved both very much. Near to his heart were his two stepchildren who he helped raise – Jessica Callico (spouse Brian) and K. Perry Rutherford (spouse Becky) and his much loved grandchildren Haley, Joe, Tyson, and Camryn Callico, Christopher Rutherford and Aidan Monteith.

Dave was born in Montreal, Canada on October 7, 1944, and is preceded in death by his parents Bengt and Julia Carlson of Tesuque, New Mexico.

Dave was a machinist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Ball Aerospace, and Lange Ski Company. In his later years, he was a real estate broker in Jemez Springs, NM.  

He had a great life and enjoyed it to the fullest. At his request, there will be no service; however, he requests that all who knew him have a beer, glass of wine, or drink of your choice in his memory.
