Obituary: Candice Bone March 24, 1945 – Aug. 9, 2021

CANDICE BONE March 24, 1945 – Aug. 9, 2021

As the sun rose on Monday, August 9, Candy rose to glory with her savior.

She was born to Maurice and Joyce Manes on March 24, 1945 in Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tyler Bone, father to her son, Gerald Bone, and brother, Tracy Manes.

Candy spent most of her life in Los Alamos and retired after a career as a Pharmacist. Candy had many, many friends. She was incredibly kind, patient, and generous. She was athletic: hiking, running, skiing, and horseback riding. She cared for a beautiful flower garden in her front yard for neighbors to enjoy.

We thank LAVNS Hospice for their loving care. In addition, a special thanks to friend and advocate, Phil Dabney.

She is survived by her sister, Pam (Doug) Anderson, niece Debby Collins, and nephew, Duwayne (JoAnn) Anderson.

She will be interred at Guaje Pines Cemetery in the near future alongside son Tyler and her parents.
