ADAM JAMES OSCHWALD May 29, 1986 – Nov. 22, 2020

Adam James Oschwald passed unexpectedly on November 22, 2020. He was 34 years old. He was born in Las Cruces, NM, to Anita McCormick and William Oschwald.

He is survived by his daughters, Lydia, Jaydin and Isabella, sister, Valerie Naranjo (James), grandfather C.T. Tirre, godparents Jim Oschwald (Kirsten), Cary Oschwald-Mellos (Mike) and partner Ciprianna Roybal. He also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Adam was a very talented artist. He had attended Santa Fe Community College where he studied art. His passion of music and a heavy interest in “Spinning” music birthed his well-known name, “DJ Epidemic”. His inner circle of friends would hang-out with him celebrating life through his music.

Adam had held many trades, he worked with his father with a moving business, home improvement jobs for his mom, as well as a caregiver for a friend’s grandmother.

Adam was compassionate for those in need. His giving spirit helped him along the way. Adam had a big heart and loved deeply. His big smile and witty personality attracted a host of people who loved him deeply as well. He is very much loved by his family and they will miss him dearly.

Special thanks to Presbyterian Hospital, Santa Fe, NM and their doctors/staff who assisted with his medical treatment. Special thanks to Riverside Funeral Home, Santa Fe, NM, and their professional staff assisting with care Adam’s funeral arrangements with the family. A private viewing with immediate family was held December 2, 2020.

Lastly, to those who lovingly dedicated their time and assisted in many ways. The love and compassion given by everyone was felt and brought comfort to our hearts.
