ABBE JUNE NEAL Aug. 20, 1956 – July 14, 2021

Abbe June Neal of Los Alamos, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly at her home July 14 at the age of 64.

Abbe was born in Boone, North Carolina August 20, 1956 to Shirley Hartley and Grady Lionell Lewis. She attended classes at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and worked as a Librarian until dedicating herself to raising her two children.

She had a vibrant and fun personality and had a passion for traveling, reading, and creating art. She was very loved and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. The family would like to thank the caregivers who helped her through her last few months.

Abbe is survived by her daughter Kelsey Neal, son Ryan Neal and wife Sarah Baugher, mother Shirley Lewis, former spouse Thomas Neal, and sisters Kathy Lackey and Rebecca Lewis. She is predeceased by her sister Laurie Weeks Lewis and father Grady Lewis.

A graveside service for Abbe was held at 12 p.m., July 22 at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos. All those who cared for her were welcome to attend.
