Nuclear Testing: What Is Needed And Why? March 9

The Los Alamos Committee on Arms Control and International Security (LACACIS) will host a talk by Dr. John Hopkins at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 9 in the lounge at the United Church on Canyon Road.
Dr. Hopkins is a former J-Division director and associate director at Los Alamos National Laboratory, an APS Fellow and technical advisor to the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency Nuclear testing. In his Wednesday talk, Hopkins will explain why nuclear testing was such a large program and tell his audience how he would plan for a resumption of testing.
The talk is open to the public.
