Los Alamos Medical Center is pleased to announce Patrick Dawson, MD, has joined the medical staff of the Northern New Mexico Women’s Health Center.
Dr. Dawson is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has a special interest in general and high risk obstetrics, non-surgical options when available, and minimally invasive options when surgery is needed.
“We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Dawson,” said Feliciano Jiron, Los Alamos Medical Center CEO. “His specialties offer a new expertise which will help us serve our patients and community with the greatest skill possible.”
Dr. Dawson earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He completed his residency at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.
Prior to coming to LAMC, Dr. Dawson worked at Southwest Medical Associates and ABQ Health Partners. He recently moved from Albuquerque to Los Alamos with his family.
“We love Los Alamos. We are enjoying the climate, the community, and the people,” he said. “My family is really enjoying our move here. I am also happy to be working here with Dr. Van Eeckhout. I am looking forward to a long and healthy practice here.”
The public is invited to meet Dr. Dawson 4-6 p.m. Thursday, July 24 in the Women’s Health and Childbirth Center reception area on the second floor of LAMC.
