North Shore Shave Ice Company has opened for business at 1247 Central Ave., in downtown Los Alamos. Manager Kayla Parker, right, and helper Megan Dahl welcome patrons noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 3 p.m. Friday after which their mobile business heads to Ashley Pond Park to reopen at 7 p.m. in time for the Gordons Summer Concert.
